The postpartum period is a time of physical healing, emotional adjustment, and profound change. It deserves care that is both knowledgeable and deeply compassionate.

As a postpartum doula with over 20 years of nursing experience, I support families with calm, attentive, and evidence-based care during the early weeks after birth. I specialize in nurturing maternal recovery while also providing practical newborn support—helping families feel steadied, informed, and cared for during this vulnerable season.

I am also a mother who understands firsthand the demands of postpartum life—the need for rest, reassurance, and someone who can quietly step in and help without judgement. My care is instinct-honoring, kind, and highly attentive. I anticipate needs, multitask seamlessly, and create a supportive environment where healing and bonding can happen naturally.

My goal is simple: to ensure you feel supported, capable, confident, and never alone as you recover, adjust, and grow into this new chapter.

Philosophy of Care

I believe postpartum care should feel steady, respectful, and deeply supportive. This season is not meant to be rushed or endured alone—it is a time for intentional recovery, compassionate guidance, and care that honors both instinct and evidence.

My philosophy centers on maternal well-being as the foundation of family health. When a parent is supported physically and emotionally, the entire household benefits. I approach care with attentiveness and flexibility, meeting families where they are and adapting support to their unique needs, values, and rhythms.

I believe in calm presence over urgency, education over overwhelm, and support that empowers rather than replaces parental confidence. My role is to quietly hold space, anticipate needs, and provide reassurance—so you feel safe to rest, heal, and grow into this transition with confidence.

Credentials and Experience

I bring over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, supporting individuals and families through vulnerable and transformative moments of care. This clinical background allows me to provide informed, evidence-based postpartum support with professionalism, efficiency, and calm assurance.

In addition to my nursing career, I am a Austin Baby Guru–trained Postpartum Doula, with specialized education in newborn care, postpartum recovery, and family adjustment during the early weeks after birth. I am also Adult, Child, and Infant CPR certified, ensuring safety and preparedness are always at the forefront of my care.

Alongside my professional training, I hold a special interest in maternal mental health, shaped by my own lived experiences and understanding of how deeply support matters during this transition. This perspective informs my compassionate, nonjudgmental approach and my commitment to recognizing the emotional as well as physical needs of postpartum parents.

Together, my clinical expertise, doula training, and personal insight allow me to offer care that is both highly skilled and deeply human.
