Medical Disclaimer
Postpartum doula services are non-medical in nature and are not a replacement for medical care. While I am a Registered Nurse by background, my services as a postpartum doula are provided independently and not under a medical license. I do not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decision-making as part of my doula role.
All information, education, and support offered are intended to complement—not replace—the care provided by your physician, midwife, or other licensed healthcare professionals. I encourage all clients to maintain an ongoing relationship with their healthcare providers and to seek medical advice for any concerns related to physical recovery, mental health, or infant well-being.
My role is to offer informed, supportive, and attentive care focused on education, comfort, and practical assistance, while respecting professional boundaries and prioritizing client safety at all times.
Mental Health Support Disclaimer
While I provide compassionate, attentive support with an awareness of maternal mental health, my services are not a substitute for medical or mental health care. As a postpartum doula, I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
Emotional well-being is an essential part of postpartum recovery. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where parents feel heard, supported, and cared for. When additional support is needed, I encourage and assist families in connecting with qualified healthcare providers, therapists, or mental health professionals.
If you or someone in your household is experiencing thoughts of self-harm, harm to others, or feels in immediate emotional distress, it is important to seek urgent professional support. In the United States, you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at any time. If you are outside the U.S., please contact your local emergency number or a trusted healthcare provider right away.
My role is to walk alongside you—offering presence, reassurance, and practical support—while honoring the importance of professional mental health care as part of a comprehensive postpartum support system.
